Woodforest Community Among Top Selling In United States

MONTGOMERY, TX — Woodforest in Montgomery was named to RCLCO's best-selling master-planned communities of mid-year 2021 list.

The real-estate consulting firm ranked communities across the country based on total number of sales. Woodforest, located in south Montgomery County off Fish Creek Thoroughfare between Lake Conroe and The Woodlands, ranked 49th with 265 sales through the first half of 2021. According to RCLCO, that's an increase of 43 percent over 2020's mid-year figures.

Woodforest's website advertises homes ranging from "the $240s to the millions" from builders such as Chesmar, Taylor Morrison, Highland Homes, Perry Homes and Jeff Paul Custom Homes. The website indicates builds from David Weekley Homes will be coming soon to the community.

Some of Woodforest's amenities include Forest Island, a family-fun center that includes two pools, two tennis courts and a basketball court. Stampede Sportsplex features three soccer fields, and the community has 13 parks and over 15 miles of trails.

The community is located in both the Conroe and Montgomery Independent School Districts and is zoned for Stewart Elementary School, Peet Junior High School and Conroe High School in Conroe ISD and Lone Star Elementary School, Oak Hills Junior High School and Lake Creek High School in Montgomery ISD.

Breckenridge Forest, a Spring community in north Harris County, was ranked 37th on the list with 290 sales.

Florida, Texas and Nevada made up 75 percent of sales among the top 50 best-selling communities.
