Upcoming East4East Event Slated To Benefit East Austin Nonprofits

A percentage of business proceeds will go directly to nonprofit coffers on dedicated day.

EAST AUSTIN, TX -- The upcoming East4East event could be viewed as something of a Valentine’s Day for nonprofits.

Hispanic Alliance officials have announced a one-day event dubbed East4East during which businesses will contribute a percentage of their sale to nonprofits serving the East Austin community. During the Feb. 18 event, 4 percent of the day’s profits will benefit several nonprofit organizations.

“Not only is this an opportunity for East Side businesses to give back to the community, but also a chance to showcase nonprofit programs serving those most in need,” Hispanic Alliance officials wrote in a press advisory.
