Looking for a Threesome? App Ranks Houston Among Best Cities for Ménage à Trois

Bayou City comes in 5th on list of best places to look for threesome in the U.S.; New York is tops.

Houston has been receiving lots of accolades lately. Publications around the nation are lauding its cuisine, and the Super Bowl was deemed a huge success. Now comes recognition that's a little more intimate.

The Bayou City, it seems, is a great place to look for a threesome. You know, ménage à trois.

Specifically, Houston ranks 5th on app 3Somer's top 10 list of most popular cities in which to find encounters involving three consenting adults. While this might surprise some, one of the things Houston is known for is its friendliness ... not to mention its plethora of adult stores ... so perhaps the recognition is understandable. (San Antonio, the only other Texas city to make the list, occupies the 10th spot; sorry, Dallas/Fort Worth.) Rounding out the cities list are New York (1st), Los Angeles, Chicago, Brooklyn, Miami, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, and San Diego (9th).

While some might state that 3Somer's rankings correlate strictly to population, audience diversity also seems to play a role. Indeed, a quick look at profiles on the app's Houston channel turns up diversity in abundance.

"From the time we launched 3Somer in beta, the number of people who are either looking to explore their sexuality or reignite the spark in their relationships/marriages has grown on a weekly basis," says John Martinuk, co-founder of 3somer, which ranked the cities based on its user data. "We offer those who don't want to cheat or look for something on the side a way to healthily express themselves." The app has more than 100,000 users worldwide.
