The main threat from any potential severe weather or strong thunderstorms is expected to be gusty winds, but a brief tornado is a distant secondary threat, according to NWS Houston. Rain totals should remain low because the system is projected to move quickly through the area.

Following the front, strong winds are expected to gust out of the north throughout Saturday, and temperatures are expected to drop over the weekend.
