ROUND ROCK, TX β€” The Arctic blast across the region has spurred service disruptions for Capital Metro, with no service scheduled on Monday, delays for some routes and suspension of other services on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, CapMetro will have a late start of service at 7 a.m. for Round Rock Routes 50 & 51. There will be no Rail Connector Service, no service on Round Rock Route 150 to Howard Station and 152 to Tech Ridge, no Express Service and no UT Shuttle service, transit officials wrote in an advisory.

Roads were made treacherous after snow and ice fell on the region. Such conditions have caused considerable delays for bus service, prompting the agency to waive fares through Tuesday.
