The Children’s Ballet of San Antonio Hosts Open Auditions for Polar Express: The Musical!

The Children’s Ballet of San Antonio (CBSA) is seeking dynamic performers age 10+ with exceptional acting, vocal, and dancing skills to join our cast. Dancers of all styles are invited to audition as CBSA searches for talented and dedicated performers proficient in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, commercial jazz, or gymnastics. Musicians will have the chance to shine, performing timeless songs from the beloved original. Performers with Special Needs are encouraged to audition. Twice As Nice! This year, CBSA gives young performers more time to shine with TWO holiday productions. In addition to the premiere of Polar Express: The Musical, The Children’s Nutcracker returns to the Riverwalk’s Lila Cockrell Theatre on December 13 - 15. Whether you have a preschool prima donna eager to join Clara and her Nutcracker Prince around the Christmas Tree or a talented tween actor hoping his stage debut comes on a train to the North Pole, young performers have so many opportunities to showcase their unique skills by auditioning for either (or both!).
