A Knock At The Door: Neighbor Helps Wounded Man After Shooting

A Fort Bend County man called 911 after a man beat on his door after being shot several times Thursday night.

FORT BEND COUNTY, TX β€” A man who was shot several times while sitting in his car is fighting to stay alive, and police are looking for the person who shot him. The shooting happened shortly after 9 p.m. near Sign Street and Nickel in Fort Bend County.

The victim said he was sitting in his car, when someone rolled up in a car next to him and started shooting.

The man, who has not been identified, got out of his car and walked to a nearby home and and started beating on the door.

The neighbor who answered found the man standing in his doorway with several gunshot wounds, including a gunshot wound to the face, and immediately called 911.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
