Patch Pet Of The Week: BlackJack

BlackJack is a friendly and energetic 4-year-old Yorkie (who also happens to be a big cutie pie)! He sometimes goes by Jack, to make things easier. As you will learn, BlackJack is full of energy and finds a bunch of ways to keep himself entertained at all times.

First day home

He was super tiny when his family first got him. As soon as his new owner picked him up, she got attacked with kisses and that was when she knew she had to have BlackJack in her life. Who can resist puppy kisses?

Likes

He's very energetic! He loves to get all of his pent-up energy out during long walks or at the dog park, where he socializes and plays with all the other pups. Like any dog, he enjoys his treats more than anything!

Dislikes

It's common knowledge that most dogs make an enemy out of their mailman and BlackJack is certainly no exception. He also really doesn't like when anyone tries to leave. He wants everyone to stay and play with him forever!

Weirdest thing he ever ate

Rice pudding.

Favorite treat

He truly likes all types of treats, so he can't bear to pick a favorite.

Funniest habit

When BlackJack wants to play, he lets you know by barking and spinning around until he gets his way.

Favorite toy

He has a chipmunk toy that he loves to play with. He also loves his old, deflated, chewed up basketball. He throws it all over the backyard and fetches it.

Puppy love

"Jack has changed my life. He’s the sweetest dog ever and I can’t imagine life without him."
