Meet our adorable Patch Pet of the Week, Gus!

Gus is a 6-month-old Bernese Mountain dog from Norton, Massachusetts. He may look tiny, but he already has a huge personality.

First day home

At just 10 pounds, Gus arrived home and instantly became the cutest member of the family. He would bunny hop through the grass and straight into your heart.

Just look at that face!

Funniest habit

When he's hungry and it's close to feeding time, he definitely will let you know. He'll kick his bowl around, start pacing and then flop down hard on the floor with a nice sigh to let you know he's ready to eat. Subtle, Gus!

Likes

While you might think deer antlers would freak a pup out, Gus loves them. He also enjoys sneaking into his parent's bedroom and onto the bed when no one is looking.

Dislikes

He doesn't like bath time or getting his fur brushed.

Favorite type of treat

He loves duck meatballs! His parents found them for him at Tractor Supply and he's been obsessed ever since.

Favorite toy

His squeaky moose is easily his favorite. He's had it since the first day he was brought home and he has yet to destroy it. That's how you know he loves it.

The weirdest thing he ever ate

Mulch. He went through a serious mulch-eating stage early on. We've gotta say, that's pretty gross.
