Patch Pet Of The Week: Poppy

Reading about this little cutie will cure your Monday blues real quick!

Poppy is a 2-year-old Chihuahua Pomeranian mix from Woonsocket, Rhode Island. She is super loyal and always making her humans laugh.

First day home

She was so tiny that she fit in her owner's palm perfectly! She even had to wear a collar with a bell on it so that they wouldn't lose her in the house.

Favorite treat

Poppy keeps it simple with her love for chicken.

Weirdest thing she ever ate

She once ate a pickle.

Likes

She absolutely loves snuggles. Poppy also likes playing with "her" cat (the house cat). Another thing she enjoys is taking walks around the neighborhood.

Dislikes

Poppy really doesn't enjoy loud noises — which means that thunder and fireworks are definitely not her friends.

Funniest habit

She tries to clean her human's ears. Gross but sweet.

Favorite Toy

This pup loves playing with her stuffed kitty.

'She truly believes she's a cat'

We know Poppy's an adorable pup, but according to her owner she likes to think of herself as a cat.
