Patch Pet Of The Week: Scooter

Give a big hello to Scooter, our brand new pet of the week and a real cutie.

Scooter is a 1 year old min pin doxie mix from Canton, Georgia. He also goes by the name of Puppy to his owners. Scooter loves to run and play. His family got him when he was just 9 weeks old from the Cherokee County Animal Shelter. He's such a sweet loving boy that melts his momma's heart.

First day home

As you can probably imagine, he was so tiny and really shy. Luckily, he warmed up eventually and now loves his new home!

Favorite treat

He has two favorites. Beneful treats and baked chicken. We don't blame him for not being able to choose just one.

Weirdest thing he ever ate

He ate carrots. Not a common meal for a pup. We wonder if he liked them.

Likes

He loves to grab anything and everything he can find and run away with it. You gotta play catch-me with him and he lives for it!

Dislikes

Scooter really doesn't like the Christmas blow-ups in the front yard of his house. Maybe he's afraid of them because they're so big?

Funniest habit

He does pawlatties (sticks his butt up in the air). LOL, we've gotta see that!

Favorite Toy

Scooter will play with just about anything!
