From a small store front building on Central Avenue in Newark, New Jersey, the Garfunkle legacy was born. With little money, a tremendous amount of knowledge and the determination, Eleanor (known as Ellie) and Morris (fondly known to all as GAR), started their amazing journey.

Chair product by chair product, barstool element by barstool element; they were determined to seek out a living. Their product was built better. They were immensely loyal to the few clients they had always looking to secure their trust with honesty and integrity.

Let’s fast forward to 2020. Here we are in Lakewood, NJ in a 102,000 sq. foot state of the art facility on the backs of their children, the legacy continues. We have never strayed from our core values of honesty, integrity, loyalty, and quality.
