Here are the top stories today in Burlington:

  1. The Bank of Burlington has raised $33 million in startup capital in less than a month. The required capital mark has been met and the project will now move forward. This will be the first new financial institution to be chartered in Vermont in decades. (WCAX)

  3. The South Burlington School District is working around the clock to fix its enrollment issues. The district is reportedly running out of space for all of its students - especially elementary students. The district is over the 140 square feet per student guideline that the Vermont Department of Education requires for students. (WCAX)
