BURLINGTON, VT — A former emergency room doctor with the University of Vermont Medical Center has been sentenced to eight years in prison after he was convicted on a child pornography charge, according to a report.

Eike Blohm, 39, was sentenced to serve 100 months in prison in addition to 12 years of supervised release after investigators found devices in his home containing images of child pornography, including multiple images of children under 12 years old.

Blohm's sentence will run concurrently with another 80-month sentence after authorities found a camera he had placed inside a UVMMC employee bathroom, which led to his arrest on more than a dozen voyeurism charges.
