Here are the top three stories in Burlington today:

  1. The Vermont Center for Ecostudies has appointed a new executive director. Susan Hindinger was appointed to lead the center that monitors a variety of wildlife in the Burlington region such as birds, reptiles, insects, and plants. Hindinger plans to use her new position to expand the number of people that the center communicates with. She will assume the position in October. (WCAX)
  2. Are you in the market for a new job or simply thinking about switching careers?   3. Burlington residents can now receive free period products from the state's Planned Parenthood locations. The program offers pads and tampons to those that cannot access menstrual products. There is no limit as to the amount that a resident can pick up and supplies will be provided without an appointment during normal operating hours.
