ARLINGTON, VA — Writing a letter to Santa is a treasured tradition for many Arlington families. They’re a lens into the magic of the holiday season through the eyes of a child.

We’ve partnered with T-Mobile so we can all share in their joy. This letter, submitted by Yolanda Gray in Arlington, was written by 9-year-old TyKeitha:

“My daddy died. I asked him for some skates and a gumball machine. Santa, PLEASE help me and tell my daddy I love him. Oh yeah, I hope you like peanut butter cookies.”

Please note: Your (child’s) letter may be shared with your community to help spread holiday cheer. All fulfillment requests need to be routed separately to the North Pole and/or Santa himself. In other words, these letters are just for fun: Santa won’t be checking the lists on Patch.
