FAIRFAX CITY, VA — Due to the tropical storm expected to pass through Northern Virginia this weekend, the City of Fairfax has postponed the Get the Scoop on the New CUE event originally scheduled for Saturday at Van Dyck Park.

Saturday's event was meant to be an opportunity for CUE bus riders to check out the colorful new wraps that will adorn the buses. The city is also installing new outdoor seats, lighting, shelters, and digital signs. A new date for the event has yet to be determined.

For more than 40 years, the Fairfax City CUE bus system has not only served city residents but also the students and faculty of George Mason University. The city no longer collects fares on CUE buses, so people can hop on and ride for free.
