Fredericksburg Man Killed In Stafford Crash: Police

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — A Fredericksburg man died after a single-car crash in Stafford on Tuesday, Virginia State Police said.

Authorities identified the man as 34-year-old Lord Elsun J. Warren. No other injuries were reported in the crash.

Investigators said that around 1 a.m., Warren was driving a 2012 Nissan Altima on northbound Interstate 95. Near the 146 mile marker, the Nissan ran off the left side of the road and crashed into a jersey wall.

Warren suffered life-threatening injuries. First responders took him to Stafford Hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries.

Authorities noted that Warren was not wearing a seat belt when he crashed. Investigators believe speed was a factor in the crash.
