We’ll be at the <a href="https://www.petsuppliesplus.com/store/va/sterling/4487-sterling/4487" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Pet Supplies Plus</a> in Sterling from 1pm to 3pm on Saturday, August 24. Freedom Park

Join Leesburg Mayor Kelly Burk and Town Council members for a brief remembrance ceremony in commemoration of the tragic events and lives lost throughout the United States on September 11, 2001. 
Following the ceremony, the park will remain open to the public until 9 p.m. for those wishing to visit the memorial on their own. Guests are also encouraged to view the Hometown Hero banners, which are also on display at Freedom Park.

Franklin Park Performing & Visual Arts Center

Featuring over twenty beautifully hand-crafted marionettes, The Fairy Circus is a showcase for turn-of-the-century-style trick puppetry. The puppets will dance, play instruments, juggle, contort, transform, and fly through the air with the greatest of ease, all to the best-loved music of favorite composers. The Fairy Circus includes a lively puppetry demonstration prior to the show, and a Question and Answer session following the performance.

Week 2 of our Music For Dessert series features flute &amp; violin playing like you’ve never heard (or seen) before! Juilliard graduates Shawn Wyckoff and Maria Millar have soloed at Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall. From a daredevil version of the “Game of Thrones” theme, Bach woven into hyper-instrumental renditions of traditional tune “Rocky Road to Dublin” or dazzling tangos, this concert has a little bit of everything wrapped up into a lively performance package!
This series is for in-person audiences and those wishing to livestream the concert from home. No refreshments are served. Concert is 45-60 minutes.
