Loudoun Patch Pet Of The Week: Chloe Greets All With A Tail Wag

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Chloe Hound is a go-with-the-flow dog. She enjoys working on her yoga poses, taking time to appreciate and sniff every flower on her walks and sharing quality time with her human friends.

Chloe arrived at the Loudoun County animal shelter when her owner was no longer able to physically care for her. She misses living in a home, having her choice of sofa to snuggle on and her own person to dote on her.

Chloe, who the shelter staff believes is about 12 years old, has lived with a dog before and enjoys spending time with people who understand her preference for a slower pace of life.

Chloe greets every staff member and volunteer with a little wag of her tail and likes to sit quietly next to her friends. She likes to pull her blanket off her bed and make a little nest out of it on the floor.

Interested in meeting Chloe? Loudoun County Animal Services is open for adoptions Tuesday through Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors should wear a face covering.

UPDATE: Zoey is another dog brought to the shelter when her owner could no longer physically care for her. She is looking forward to beginning the next chapter of her life with a new loving family.
