Liberty Dining by Sodexo Supports Military Families with Free Meal

Liberty Dining by Sodexo provided a complimentary lunch to 125 veterans and their families at Liberty University's Military Family Fun Day

In a display of support for veterans, Liberty Dining by Sodexo provided a complimentary lunch to approximately 125 veterans and their families at Liberty University's Military Family Fun Day.

This event took place at the Liberty Mountain Snowflex Center Lodge on April 20th, featuring offerings from Slim Chickens, including tenders, macaroni and cheese, garden salad, tea, and lemonade.

The lunch was part of a broader event organized in conjunction with Liberty University's Office of Military Affairs, designed to celebrate and give back to military families. The planning and preparation spanned two months, culminating in a day filled with fun and gratitude.

Over 500 hand-coated chicken tenders were prepared by the dedicated team at Slim Chickens, who also handled fresh produce for the hearty meals served.

Volunteers from Sodexo's management and staff were integral to the event's success. They took on tasks from setting up the venue to serving food and breaking down the setup afterward. Their commitment ensured that the veterans and their families enjoyed a great meal and free access to all facilities at the Snowflex Center for a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon.
