TYSONS, VA — Chloé has signed a lease to open its first Washington, D.C.-area store at Tysons Galleria, according to news reports. The Tysons storefront will join the luxury retailer's short list of U.S. locations, which includes Beverly Hills, Chicago and New York.

Chloé signed a deal with Galleria owner Brookfield to occupy the 1,948-square-foot space currently home to Lady M Cakes, which will relocate to a smaller spot elsewhere in the mall, according to the Washington Business Journal.

The Chloé signing is the latest effort by Brookfield to reconfigure the 260,000-square-foot space formerly occupied by the Macy's department store, WBJ reported. With the exception of a 7,000-square-foot-block dedicated to retail and restaurant use, the majority of Macy's footprint has been turned over to amenities for the mall.
