Volunteers Needed for a project related to art making & aromatherapy.

The George Washington University’s Art Therapy program is recruiting volunteers to take part in a project exploring the combined effects of art making and aromatherapy.

Participants will be compensated with a Starbucks gift card.

During the Summer of 2016, participants will meet once for a 2-hour session to make art. Target date is a Saturday in late May.

Looking for volunteers who:

• are not pregnant (or possibly pregnant);

• are between 21 and 50 years of age;

• have a normal sense of smell;

• have little or no experience with aromatherapy and/or essential oils;

• who are not allergic to nuts, citrus, or wood;

• have no known allergies or physical reactions to any of the following essential oils:

Angelica root (or seed), Niaouli, Rosemary, Ylang-ylang, Cedarwood, Neroli, Sandalwood, Geranium, Peppermint, Valerian, Lavender, Ravensara, Verbena.

The target date for the art making & aromatherapy is June 25th.
