Alexandria ​Hosting Community Meeting On Surplus City-Owned Properties

The community is invited to attend this informational meeting and will be given the opportunity to ask questions and provide input.

From the City of Alexandria: Reminder: The City will hold a community meeting on Monday, January 9, 2017, at 7 p.m. in the Durant Recreation Center, 1605 Cameron Street, regarding the disposition of the following City-owned properties: 912, 916 and 920 King Street; 116 S. Henry Street; and 120, 122 and 122 ½ N. Patrick Street (see map).


The City Council has declared the City-owned properties listed above as surplus real estate and has authorized the City Manager to issue Request for Proposals (RFPs) for the competitive disposition, sale and redevelopment of these properties.

The community is invited to attend this informational meeting and will be given the opportunity to ask questions and provide input. All feedback received will assist in the development of the RFPs anticipated to be issued in early 2017.
