The Sterling Park Amateur Radio Club (SPARC) will conduct an Amateur Radio license Examination Session at 1 pm at the Eastern Loudoun Sheriff’s Station located at 46620 East Frederick Dr., Sterling, VA 20164. Fee for exam and FCC license application (reduced fee for under 18 candidates). Technician, General and Extra Class exams will be offered. Registration requested, but not required. ABOUT THE BOOK
Filled with banter, hijinks, and heart, Fall for Him is about finding out what it really means to fix things after your life crumbles.
Dylan Gallagher’s extremely hot downstairs neighbor seemed to loathe him from the second he moved in, and given that Dylan just caused a flood, fell through the floor, landed directly onto that same neighbor’s bed, and made the worst timed “It’s Raining Men” joke ever, that seems unlikely to change.
Meanwhile, when rains it pours for ER Nurse Derek Chang. The timing of the astronomically expensive deluge couldn’t be worse. Paying off his sister’s debts emptied Derek’s bank account, and the underlying root cause of the collapsed ceiling came from his own unit. Also, the local HOA tyrant has been sniffing around trying to fine him for the illicit, extended visit of his best friend’s dog.
Dylan has his own reasons to keep the catastrophe quiet. He offers to fix the damage himself and help keep Derek’s dog-sitting secret. The two men have to squeeze all their emotional baggage and the 130lb dog into a tiny one-bedroom apartment. Dylan knows he’s not Derek’s type, so he's intent on getting the repair job done as quickly as possible so he doesn’t do anything stupid like acting on his inconvenient attraction. Meanwhile Derek’s trying to ignore the fact that the surprisingly funny, tattooed nerd sleeping on the couch is growing on him more and more, despite his determination to hate him.

ABOUT THE AUTHORS
ANDIE BURKE writes books with queer kissing and happily ever afters. She’s an English major who jumped into nursing—recently escaping the pandemic ER to a pediatric sedation unit. Andie lives in MD with an alarming number of books and ultra-fine point pens. When not writing, she’s feeding two small human creatures or trying not to kill her houseplants. You can find her on Bookstagram adding to her ever-expanding TBR or letting her ADHD brain happily dissociate while listening to Taylor Swift.
Timothy Janovsky is a queer multidisciplinary storyteller based in Washington, DC. He holds a bachelor's degree from Muhlenberg College and a self-appointed certificate in rom-com studies (accreditation pending). When he's not daydreaming about young Hugh Grant, he's telling jokes, playing characters and writing books. He also publishes romantic comedies with Sourcebooks Casablanca, including Never Been Kissed and You're a Mean One, Matthew Prince.

Registration opens at 9:30 am and activities start at 10 and run to 2 pm. Activities include dog contests, agility contests, the pie eating contest, and, of course, the famous Basset 100 Race! Bring your dog (all breeds welcome) and join us for a fun day for the whole family! You can even enter them into one of our contests. The Ramble is also full of raffles, a BROOD shop, and an auction to help BROOD raise money to help support hounds! Raffles include baskets full of goodies, some for dogs and many for humans. BROOD will also host a gift card raffle. (Food sales are cash only.)
