Facebook Parent To Shrink Presence At Reston Town Center: Reports

Meta Platforms Inc. plans to give back two-thirds of the office space it occupies in Reston Town Center next year, according to reports.

RESTON, VA — Meta Platforms Inc., the parent company of Facebook Inc., is planning to give back two-thirds of the office space it occupies in Reston to BXP Inc., according to news reports. The company's current lease expires in 2025.

Of the 75,000 square feet that Meta occupies at 1818 Library St. in Reston Town Center, a CoStar listing says that two floors, or 51,000 square feet, will be available in June 2024, according to the Washington Business Journal.

BXP Inc., formerly Boston Properties, reported in June that its properties in Reston Town Center were 93.8 percent occupied and 96.1 percent leased, according to WBJ's reporting.
