Fresh Market To Open Grocery Store Near Reston East Station

RESTON, VA — Within the next two years, Fresh Market, the Greensboro, North Carolina-based grocery store chain plans to open stores in Falls Church and Reston, according to news reports.

Fresh Market, which already has DMV locations in Alexandria and Vienna in Virginia, and Rockville, Maryland, recently signed a deal with Comstock Holding Companies to open a new store in the company's mixed-use development at Wiehle-Reston East Station, according to the the Washington Business Journal.

"The Fresh Market is a great complement to the ever-growing neighborhood,” Comstock COO Tim Steffan said in a statement published by WBJ. The developer has already lined up Vida Fitness, Puttshack and Ebbit House.
