Sexual Battery Charge Filed After Child Touched In Reston Store

A 25-year-old man is in custody after he inappropriately touched and photographed a 7-year-old girl in a Reston store, according to police.

RESTON, VA — A 25-year-old man who inappropriately touched a 7-year-old girl in a Reston store on Friday was arrested on multiple charges, according to Fairfax County Police.

Officers were called to the 11100 block of South Lakes Drive around 10:30 p.m. for the report of an assault. Investigators said that while a 7-year-old and her mother were inside a store, Arturo Elmore-Adon of Reston followed them.

After inappropriately touching the child, Elmore-Adon photographed her without her mother's consent and fled, according to police. No injuries are reported.

Police arrested Elmore-Adon on Monday and charged him with aggravated sexual battery and unlawful creation of an image of another under 18. He is being held in the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center without bond.
