RESTON, VA — Detectives with the Fairfax County Police Department's Crash Reconstruction Unit are investigating the circumstances behind a two-vehicle collision in Reston that sent three men to the hospital Tuesday morning.

Around 9 a.m., officers were at the scene of the crash at Leesburg Pike and Dranesville Road in Reston, according to a post on social media. Three men were taken to the hospital, one in life-threatening condition.

Eastbound Leesburg Pike at Dranesville Road was closed for approximately three hours to allow CRU detectives time to investigate the scene of the crash. The roadway reopened to traffic around 11 a.m.
