Audio Porn Plays On Fairfax County Police Radio On New Year's Day
In the first hour of 2023, audio porn was on the Fairfax County police radio accidentally through an off-duty officer's personal vehicle.
FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA — The new year started with inappropriate content appearing on the police radio transmissions in Fairfax County.
According to a police statement, audio porn was accidentally broadcast on New Year's Day after midnight on the radio police, fire and 911 dispatchers use.
An internal investigation found an off-duty officer had a portable radio in the trunk of his personal vehicle. As the off-duty officer was listening to audio porn on Bluetooth in his vehicle, the portable radio activated and captured the sound.

No other person was in the vehicle when the incident occurred, officials said.
Police confirmed the audio porn was the same file broadcast over the police radio system. According to WTOP, the audio played for more than five minutes.

The police department's Internal Affairs Bureau continues to investigate the incident. The off-duty officer was interviewed by Internal Affairs, but police did not immediately say if the officer faced disciplinary actions.
