VIENNA, VA — Maple Ave Restaurant in Vienna was impacted by a vehicle crash Thursday, according to the owners.

The owners shared on Facebook that a driver hit the restaurant at 147 Maple Ave West and left the scene. No injuries were identified from the crash. A photo showed the damage to the outside wall, which just missed the restaurant's main gas line.

A bystander and the employees of the neighboring Cruz-N-Shine Vienna unsuccessfully tried to stop the driver. However, the restaurant had a video of the incident and the vehicle's license plate number.
