VIENNA, VA — Starting in early October, Town of Vienna residents will be surveyed on quality of life factors in the National Community Survey.

The town government is conducting the National Community Survey for the first time since 2018. The national survey is typically done every two years, but the 2020 survey was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 15-minute confidential questionnaire will gather feedback from residents on livability, transportation, education, recreational opportunities, civic engagement and other quality of life services in Vienna.

The survey will be administered by the town government's contractor, Polco. The first phase beginning in early October will send the survey in the mail to a random sample of Vienna households.

In the second phase starting Oct. 30, town residents who did not receive the survey in the mail will be able to complete the same one online.
