Vienna's Fall Parks And Recreation Programs Open For Registration

VIENNA, VA — It may not be time to break out the flannel shirts and pumpkin spice everything yet, but Vienna is giving residents a reason to start thinking about fall.

Registration opened Monday for the Town of Vienna's fall parks and recreation programs. There is something for all ages, from youth programs and gymnastics to adult art, fitness and enrichment programs. Town of Vienna residents get first priority for registration before it opens to the general public on Aug. 12.

Here are a few of the highlights in Vienna's parks and recreation fall programs:

• Gymnastics for Ages 4-7, 5-13, for Parent and Child, Preschool and Advanced
• Your Perfect Scent: Spooktacular Candle Making for ages 7-12
• Coding with Fun for ages 6-11
• Parent Discussion: Talk, They Hear You
• Club Phoenix Teen Center School Day Out Trips to Cox Farms, Monster Mini Golf, Flight Adventure Park, Bowlero, Skate N Fun Zone
• Pottery Wheel for Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced
• Pickleball I, II and III
• Adult Enrichment Class: Today's Technology
• Adult Gardening Program: Extending Your Garden Harvest into Fall and Winter: Crops and Structures
• Mature Adults Events & Lectures: Downsizing
• Mature Adult Trips: MJ The Musical at National Theatre, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad, National Museum of the American Latino, Lady Camellia Tea Room, Hanover Tavern and The Nutcracker at Hylton Performing Arts Center

Vienna residents who are not yet registered for a parks and recreation account may register online, walk in to the Vienna Community Center, 120 Cherry Street SE, during business hours, or mail the registration form with payment to Vienna Community Center, 120 Cherry Street SE, Vienna, VA 22180.

If you want even more to look forward to, mark your calendars for Vienna's largest fall events. Vienna Oktoberfest is set for Sunday, Oct. 5, the Vienna Halloween Parade is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 23, and the Vienna Turkey Trot will be on Sunday, Nov. 24.
