17-Year-Old Killed In Woodbridge Crash; 2 Injured: Police

Speed was a factor in the collision, according to police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A 17-year-old was killed in a crash early Sunday morning in Woodbridge, according to police.

The teen was driving a 2016 Toyota Corolla south on Richmond Highway in the area of Easy Street at a high rate of speed when he lost control, crossed the median into the northbound lanes and hit a 2023 Chrysler Pacifica, police said.

The boy was pronounced dead on scene and the occupants of the Pacifica, a 42-year-old Manassas woman and a 46-year-old Chantilly man, were taken to an area hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, according to police, who said speed was a factor in the crash.
