DALE CITY, VA — Locally-owned American Family Care Urgent Care Dale City will hold a ribbon cutting in early February for its opening.

"We are very excited about opening a location in Prince William County and being part of
the Woodbridge community," said Arrington. "This new clinic will fill a significant void for medical needs and attention. We look forward to providing urgent care to families who live and work nearby."

Urgent care can be a less costly option than the emergency room for non-emergency medical concerns like the common cold, flu, fractures, rapid and antigen COVID-19 testing and allergy treatments. American Family Care Urgent Care Dale City is physician staffed and provides services like digital x-rays, on-site lab testing, diagnostics and electronic medical records. The urgent care center can also help with occupational health exams and workers D.O.T. physicals, urine drug testing and breath-alcohol tests. Rates may be discounted for patients without insurance.

"Urgent care is a practical and cost-effective alternative to a trip to the hospital emergency
room or even a primary care office," said Williams. "Our dedicated team at AFC Dale City is skilled at addressing a diverse range of health concerns, ranging from minor cuts, bruises and fractures to common colds and flu symptoms."

Walk-ins are accepted at the location. Hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends. For more information, visit www.afcurgentcare.com/dale-city.
