PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — Flu shots and COVID boosters will be available this week at the Prince William Health District's Mobile Vaccine Unit. The mobile clinic will be visiting sites in Woodbridge, Manassas, and Manassas Park this week.

The unit is now authorized to administer booster doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to anyone who is eligible. Last week, the Centers for Disease Control authorized a "mix and match" approach to COVID-19 booster shots. For example, a resident can receive the Pfizer vaccine for their booster dose, even if they were originally vaccinated using the Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccines.

Booster shots are available for anyone who received the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine at least two months ago. Those who received the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines have a longer wait to receive their booster.
