Shooting Under Investigation In Woodbridge: Police

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Police were investigating Sunday afternoon following a shooting in Woodbridge that left at least one person in need of medical attention, authorities said.

The incident occurred in the area of Tassia Lane and Norris Point Way, according to police, who notified the public of the shooting shortly after 1 p.m. A male was taken to a hospital in connection with the incident, police said.

Residents were advised to expect a continued police presence and were asked to report anything suspicious, according to authorities.
