Man Charged With Sexual Assault Of Minor In Woodbridge

Prince William County Police say the suspect and victim were Civil Air Patrol members when the sexual assaults occurred.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man is facing charges for the sexual assault of a minor during his time as a Civil Air Patrol supervisor, according to Prince William County Police.

Detectives had started investigating the March 2024 sexual assaults on April 5. According to police, the female victim had been under 18 when the suspect sexually assaulted her in a vehicle at the Occoquan Commuter Lot near Gordon Blvd. and Old Bridge Rd. in Woodbridge. The other incident happened in a parking lot in the 5100 block of Dale Boulevard in Dale City.

The victim and suspect were both Civil Air Patrol members. The suspect had a supervisor role overseeing the victim. The victim had later reported the assaults to a relative, who contacted police.

Detectives obtained arrest warrants for the suspect, Keith Richard Wilson, 48, of Woodbridge, who turned himself in on July 22. He was charged with counts of indecent liberties by a person in a supervisory relationship and was held on a $25,000 unsecured bond.

Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor: On July 22 at 5:42AM, officers responded
to the Longview Condominium complex located in the 13600 block of Lynn St. in
Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a found child. The investigation revealed a Good
Samaritan located the victim, a 6-year-old girl, outside unsupervised wearing insufficient
clothing. While investigating the incident, the mother of the child, identified as the accused,
returned home. The child was unharmed and turned over to known parties. Following the
investigation, the accused, identified as Lidia Violeta Perez, was charged.

Child Neglect: On July 22 at 8:14AM, officers responded to the Rolling Brook Village
Apartments located in the 12700 block of Wood Hollow Dr. in Woodbridge (22192) to
investigate a found child. The investigation revealed the victims, a 3-year-old boy and a
1-year-old boy, were left unattended for an extended period of time by their father,
identified as the accused. Officers responded to the apartment complex when a Good
Samaritan located the children outside unsupervised. While investigating the incident,
the accused returned to the residence. The children did not appear to be injured and
were released to the custody of known parties. Following the investigation, the accused,
identified as Sekani Trent Cain, was arrested.

Shooting Investigation: On July 21 at 5:35AM, officers responded to the area of Smoketown Rd. and Purdham Dr. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a shots fired call. The investigation revealed the victims, a 19-year-old man and woman, were driving in the above area when an occupant in a black Honda Civic fired at their vehicle. When the victim attempted to drive away, the Civic followed and fired additional rounds as the vehicles traveled along Old Bridge Rd. near Smoketown Rd. Eventually, the victims stopped at a local business while the suspect vehicle continued driving away. The victims reported minor injuries from shattered glass. No additional injuries or property damage were reported.

Brandishing of a Firearm: On July 20 at 9:40PM, officers responded to the area of Mapledale Ave. near Meadowbrook Rd. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a brandishing. The investigation revealed the victims, a 39-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman, were driving in the above area when they observed a dark-colored Lexus stopped on the side of the road. As the victims neared the Lexus, multiple occupants got out of the vehicle and brandished firearms toward the victims. The victims quickly drove out of the area and contacted the police. No shots were fired, and no injuries were reported. The investigation continues as officers attempt to identify the individuals involved in the incident.
