This lovely trail winds alongside a creek as we ascend and descend throughout the park. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. This hike is rated as moderately difficult (2 miles with 700 ft total elevation change).

Daniel Mount will introduce you to the botany of grasses, and their uses and care in the modern garden. Ornamental grasses and grass-like plants have had a surge in popularity in the last few decades, not only for their versatility and ease, but also for their beauty. This class will consist of a short classroom session, followed by a tour of grasses growing in a variety of conditions in the Bellevue Botanical Garden. Dress for the weather and comfortable walking shoes is advisable. Time: 10:00AM - 12:00PM.&nbsp;$24.50 BBGS Member/$35 Non-Member.

Roger Walker, with the Puget Sound Dahlia Association, will walk you through the annual Dahlia Display at the Garden which has been planted and maintained by the Puget Sound Dahlia Association since 1993. Sun-loving dahlias provide a kaleidoscope of color from high summer through fall. The Puget Sound Dahlia Association is dedicated to growing, hybridizing, exhibiting, and conducting research on dahlias in the Northwest region of the United States. Attend this interactive class to learn tips and techniques to improve your pelvic floor health and improve your quality of life for life (Note: class not suitable for those who have given birth in the last year.)
Topics include: 
<ul><li>Therapeutic breathing and its relationship to the pelvic floor</li><li>Misbehaving bladders and bowels (and what you can do about them)</li><li>Learning how to recruit and train your pelvic floor muscles</li><li>Prevention/conservative management of pelvic organ prolapse</li></ul>

Hear from Overlake Medical Specialists: Pelvic Floor Wellness: Individuals 30+

Taught by Ray Pfortner. This workshop will focus on the Yao Garden and Tateuchi Pavilion. The Yao Garden with its gate, paths, water, walls, and plantings, provides unlimited photo opportunities, and Tateuchi Pavilion with its translucent screens and woodwork is the icing on the cake. At the first meeting on Zoom we will explore camera settings, composition, and considerations for photographing in the Garden. The second meeting will be in person at the Bellevue Botanical Garden. Then we will return to Zoom to share results for feedback from the instructor and fellow students. This class is suitable for all skill levels, using any camera or phone. All you need is a passion for photography.
Class will meet 6-8 pm on Sep 12, 14 &amp; 26. Sep 12 &amp; 26 classes will be on Zoom, and Sep 14 class will be in-person at the Bellevue Botanical Garden. Dress for the weather and comfortable walking shoes is advisable.

2024 marks the 20th anniversary of Snowflake Lane. Greg Thompson Productions employs dancers, drummers, character and parade performers, color guard, float drivers and technicians for Snowflake Lane and we would love to have you audition to perform. We are looking to hire upwards of 300 cast and crew members, at a minimum of $40/show. Performances are every evening between Black Friday 11/29 and Christmas Eve 12/24 with (paid) evening and weekend rehearsals in mid-November. Call time is 5:30 PM and the show runs from 7 PM to 7:30 PM.&nbsp;
