Join the Cedar River Salmon Journey on October Weekends! Come to the Cedar River this month for fun, free, family-friendly, interactive presentations on our native salmon! Watch spawning salmon and learn about their epic journey from the ocean, through the Ballard Locks, across Lake Washington and up to the Cedar River to spawn. Trained volunteer naturalists will be stationed from 11am to 4pm on October 13, 19, 20, 26, 27 at Renton Library, Cedar River Park (at the Renton Community Center), Riverview Park, Cavanaugh Pond and Landsburg Park. Carpool if you can or ride your bike along the Cedar River Trail! These sites have limited parking.
