Lake Forest Park Montessori Students Donate Hundreds of Gifts

Students donated toys, clothes and more to Childhaven to benefit local families in need

Students at Lake Forest Park Montessori in Seattle recently donated hundreds of gifts to Childhaven, an organization that supports local families in need. The donations were the result of a giving tree the students hosted to collect toys, clothes, supplies and more to fulfill families’ holiday wish lists. At the close of the collection, kindergarten students helped load the donations into vehicles for delivery to the organization. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of giving back to others in their community.

Childhaven is a nonprofit organization that partners with parents and the community to strengthen families, prevent childhood trauma and its damaging effects, and prepare children for a lifetime of well-being.
