SEATTLE, WA — The City of Seattle launched two live maps this week to better connect residents with food options during the coronavirus outbreak.

The first map collects all known bars and restaurants that are still operating with take-out and delivery service. City officials said the map is updated in real-time, based on information provided by each business. Restaurant owners whose businesses are not featured on the map yet can e-mail the city at supportsmallbiz [at] seattle [dot] gov to be included.

Users can browse all restaurants throughout the city or enter their home address and sort restaurants by proximity. Each listing features a contact number for placing orders and a link to the restaurant's website when possible.

The second map, organized by Seattle Human Services, charts every food bank, meal program and student meal provider in the city, along with their daily hours and best methods of contact. Residents may also learn more information about available options in Seattle and King County by calling 2-1-1.

City leaders have assembled a list of all available community resources for workers, artists, business owners and others here.
