Carolee I. Ford

Carolee I. Ford, age 76, of LaSalle, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 9, 2019.

Born August 18, 1942 in Seattle, WA, she grew up in Montana before moving to Chicago when she was eighteen years old. She worked for a short time for United Air Lines, and retired from Reliance Electric, Franklin Park, after many years of service.

Carolee will be remembered for her cooking, family dinners, and making the holidays so special. Her care and concern for her family, neighbors, friends, and church family at First Baptist Church of LaSalle, will never be forgotten.

Carolee is survived by her three children, Kathleen (James) Nabzdyk of Plainfield, Jeffrey (Tina) Ford of Savannah, GA and Kevin (Susanne) Ford of Bolingbrook; seven grandchildren, Lauren (fiancé Silas Welsh), Kimberly and Heather Nabzdyk, Jonathan (Lindsay) Ford, Brittany (Jonathan) Smith, and Andrew and Erin Ford; two great-grandchildren, Ali Ford and Jonathan Lee Ford; and a sister-in-law, Paula Seliski.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Ford (1999); her parents John and Helen (nee Keller) Seliski; and one brother, Donald Seliski.

Visitation for Carolee I. Ford will be held Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet. A funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Interment will be private in Republic, Michigan.
