After removing the person and doing chest compressions, rescue officials took the person to the hospital but later died at the hospital.

A driver of a SUV, identified as Lakatos, was also at the scene of the accident, the complaint said.

Several people with minor injuries were inside the SUV.

A person from the SUV said Lakatos was driving 5 mph over the speed limit when "the other car turned in front of them" and then they crashed, the complaint said.

Lakatos told police he was driving when he noticed a friend slam on the breaks next to him when he saw the other car turning, the complaint said.

A Wisconsin State Patrol report from October said Lakatos was driving at 72 mph at five seconds before the crash. He first hit his brake pedal 1 second before the crash, the complaint said.

The speed limit on North 124th Street is 35 mph.
