The top 25 Greenfield delinquent taxpayers owed the state more than $1.6 million as of early 2017.

GREENFIELD, WI - There are many reasons why people owe back taxes to the State of Wisconsin, but for everyone who owes more than $5,000, the state publishes their names in a list for the public to see.

Research by Patch.com has found - as of earlier this year - that the top 25 Greenfield residents and businesses owed the state a grand total of more than $1.6 million as of early 2017.

You could support the beginning of a decent public works project for that kind of money - or pay for a lot of veterans' services.
