Due to the expected extraordinary low temperatures, Solid Waste pick up is cancelled for Wednesday. The next scheduled pickup for the city residents whose collections are being cancelled will occur on their next regularly scheduled collection day, Wednesday, February 6, 2019. These residents will be allowed to dispose of excess solid waste bagged in heavy-duty, puncture resistant trash can liners, securely closed with tape or cable ties and placed next to their solid waste carts.
Both Green and Gold Wednesday recycling collections will be picked up on Wednesday, Feb. 6.

City of Waukesha

Garbage and recycling is delayed one day this week, and some collections have already been canceled earlier this week. The schedule should resume as normal starting next week.

Shorewood

Monday collection days will be completed Tuesday. Those that have Tuesday and Wednesday collection days will be pushed back at least one day. The Village will make a decision later on Tuesday to determine if those collection days need to be pushed back another day based on the projected temperatures and wind chills for Wednesday.
