2 Arrested, Over $10K Recovered After Milwaukee Bank Robbery: Police

Two men were arrested after they demanded money from a bank on Capitol Drive and then ran off with the cash on Monday, according to police.

MILWAUKEE, WI β€” Two men were arrested after police say they robbed a bank on Capitol Drive Monday afternoon.

The two men demanded the money from a bank near 56th Street and Capitol Drive around 4:42 p.m., police said. They then ran off, but police followed and arrested them and "a little over" $10,000 was recovered, according to police.

Police said the suspects are a 25-year-old and a 22-year-old.
