Attempted Robbery At Milwaukee Bank; Police Seeking Suspect

Milwaukee police on Tuesday asked the public for help identifying a suspect from an attempted bank robbery in July.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Police in Milwaukee on Tuesday asked the public for help identifying the person who tried to rob a bank on July 28.

Police said the attempted robbery happened around 10:45 a.m. at a bank near Chase Avenue and Holt Avenue. Police described the suspect as a 30-40-year-old man with a heavy build between five-foot-eight-or-ten.

Police said the suspect was last spotted wearing a black baseball hat with an orange emblem on the front (possibly some flower with a smiling sun face) plus a blue windbreaker with long white and gray sleeves, a white mask, black sunglasses, light blue "scrub-like" pants with a drawstring, grey gloves and white tennis shoes.
