For those who choose to participate in the holiday on Tuesday, Oct. 31, here are trick-or-treating hours for towns in southeast Wisconsin.

MILWAUKEE — Halloween is upon us. This year, Oct. 31 falls on a Tuesday, so expect Wisconsin kids will be combing the streets for candy that evening.

Trick-or-treating hours in Milwaukee took place over the weekend on Sunday, Oct. 29. But many other towns in the region have their trick-or-treat times set for the day of Halloween.

Residents are urged to turn on exterior lights to show they are welcoming trick-or-treaters during that time.

As for the weather, it won't be a Halloween blizzard, but the Milwaukee metro area is slated to get at least a dusting of snow Tuesday night, and likely more.

"Still expecting the first accumulating snowfall of the season Tuesday morning/afternoon, with the highest snowfall rates during the morning commute," the National Weather Service said. "Road temperatures remain somewhat uncertain, but bridges and overpasses will likely be the most susceptible."
