The Independent Business Association of Wisconsin (IBAW) hosts “The Real State of K12 Education in Wisconsin” on Friday, December 15, 2023, 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Event will be held at the Wisconsin Club, 900 W Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, Wis. A plated breakfast is served.

As a Wisconsin taxpayer, you are paying quite a bit of your property taxes towards public education in our state – whether or not you have children utilizing the system. If you’re sending your kids to a private school, you’re paying twice for education.

Steve Kohlmann, executive director of IBAW, said, “Is the education system – both public and private – delivering? How much should education cost, and how is the education system properly preparing Wisconsin kids to enter our society, and our future workforce. Join us for an inside look at Wisconsin’s educational system and where its future plans might take us.”
